At Village Church, we believe the Gospel is seen not only in what we say, but in how we welcome. Guest Services is all about creating a first impression that reflects Christ’s love—warm, genuine, and intentional. From the parking lot to the sanctuary doors, our team helps every person feel valued, seen, and at home. Whether it’s a smile, a handshake, or guiding someone to their next step, Guest Services makes Sunday mornings a place of connection and belonging.
Karen Fletcher leads the Guest Services Ministry with a heart for hospitality and a passion for helping people feel at home. She loves seeing barriers removed so that guests can focus on experiencing Jesus and building relationships. Under her leadership, Guest Services isn’t just about logistics—it’s about ministry through kindness, care, and connection.
There are different ways you can live out that calling:
🤝 Welcome Greeters – Share a smile, handshake, or kind word to help people feel at home the moment they arrive.
🙌 Ushers – Help guests find their place, answer questions, and make sure everyone can focus on worship without distraction.
Guest Services is an exciting place to serve—you get to help people feel at home the moment they walk in. If you’re interested, you can shadow the team and go through a short orientation to see what it’s like before deciding. It’s a great way to discover if this is the ministry where God is calling you to use your gifts.
